I'm recently retired from a career in the defence industry, and mainly the wheeled vehicle sector. I'm already bored with gardening, and to pass away some of my free time thought I would pass on some of my many years of collated knowledge to the wider world out there via Wikipedia. I've never been a great technology person, in fact some may call me a Luddite, so in advance I apologise to all of those that will no doubt spend many hours tidying up my attempts at working on Wikipedia.

In addition to my general interest in military vehicles I'm a music fan, although with tunnel vision (according to some...) that directs me towards glam rock, AOR and maybe a bit of melodic power metal, but not much else, and certainly nothing you'll find in the charts these days... So I may, if time permits, even work on a few music-related Wiki pages that fall within my narrow area of interest.
