I wish there could be only a single wikipedia that automatically translates to all languages, especially in discussions, that would be real fun, when one considers the differences in descriptions of the most banal 1+1 facts in some of the entries composed by speakers of hebrew, arabic, english etc... needless to say, I am a disgusted opponent of moral relativism, and I think it represents a decline in human culture- an ostrichian repression of unpleasant truths. Facts are not everything, but they are something.

Relativism, like anarchism has developed exclusively from rational judgemental cultures which it rejects, but without which it would never have even existed, nor can it ever survive on the present planet for long without the tolerance and support of their military, economic and political infrastracture. In other words- an armchair hobby practiced by a minority elite of proponents, not intended for the masses.

Whatever beliefs a person holds, I hold them to be inherently suspect if they willingly¹ depend on rival ideologies which they reject, e.g. indulging Aristocrats who support Communism, such as the Cambridge Five. And yes, some beliefs are inferior to others- generally, the more reluctant are their proponents to compare, debate and prove and their ideas, the less I am impressed.
