Dogon, and welcome

Thanks very much for your work at Dogon people. This link shows the difference between the version before your first improvements and the current version; thanks to you, the article is coming nicely into shape.

Since you're new to Wikipedia, I thought I'd provide you with a few good links for newcomers:

Judging from your contributions, I thought you might be interested in WikiProject Countering Systemic Bias. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! I think you know already that you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using four tildes (~~~~); it produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, thanks for expanding Dogon people and keep up the good work! — mark 07:47, 23 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the flower and the welcome: that was very nice! Regarding the Dogon: I try to add only verifiable information that I find in the books and that I trust as partially based upon my own recent experience. The story about Sirius and the Nommo's coming from outerspace makes me very uncomfortable, and I see that there has been an important discussion on this matter. The Nommo's are part of the Dogon mythology. But when I was at the Dogon I heard nothing about the extraterrestrial part at all... I did not find it (yet?) in the book written by a Dogon (La mère des masques). Well, I'll first try to complete the page with 'hard' data and we will see later on for the spacy things! —AAM 16:39, 24 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
