I did find one issue. In the development section this appears: "…but production ended when Holt became sick on set and was replaced by Gilbert Roland." Originally the text said "Halt" not "Holt" which I assumed was a typo so I made the change to "Holt". If this is the case, do you know if Gilbert Roland was brought in as director or to play a role in the film? The sentence says he was the director but as far as I can tell he was an actor. There's no mention of directing in his WP bio. This needs to be clarified. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Andrzejbanas, you nominated this article for DYK a little over a year ago, the day is was listed as a Good Article. It just came up on a list of DYK nominations that were never transcluded on the Template talk:Did you know page, so it was never reviewed. If you are still interested, I believe we can arrange to have it transcluded and reviewed. I would have to do a few edits to the nomination page and also transclude it myself. CarefulHello. Could you please be a little more careful when you revert? You reverted two edits on Robert Dahlqvist, one of them by me, stating that Dahlqvist's date of death was unsourced. I didn't introduce the date of death, I only corrected the syntax in the death date and age template (a pipe sign was missing). In addition, the article was in need of some copyediting, which I did. It would have been just as easy for you to just remove the death date. I have now copyedited the article again. Thanks. Vanamonde (talk) 03:31, 14 February 2017 (UTC) Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page:
{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} .During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. The films was sourced by it's own Wiki page, which is generally acceptable. I've seen many other things say differently. Where did you learn the rule for this? This is just for my personal clarification because I was conflicted whether to revert you or not so asked first. I've also seen both a studio albums chronology and a official be listed on an article before. If just studio efforts are listed, just EPs would be listed if said artist's EP article had more to EPs to its chronology. dannymusiceditor Speak up! 22:22, 8 May 2017 (UTC)

I'm a bit confused about your reason for my block. I have definitely attempted to discuss on the articles talk page, and any approach to discuss warn the user on their talk page led to no response except for the introduction to the film to avoid MOS:FILM lead intro (specifically, the IP kept changing the title to "Yongary is a 1999/2003 film" which breaks the rules of WP:SLASH and MOS:FILM's intro page. I think I'm a little confused of the three revert rule, if the content is vandalism or goes against standard, shouldn't you revert it and attempt to discuss it with the user (as I had)? Anyhow, I'd like a request to be unlock, I'm an active user on wikipedia and I'm not trying to control or argue with anyone. I'm mostly concerned that I have many pages in a watchlist and a good article nomination that could may require attendance. Help Needed: On the Topic of CollaborationHello Andrzejbanas. I just wanted to thank you for your help expanding the article on The Hideous Sun Demon. I was wondering If you would be willing to help me with expanding another article. One of my current projects is working on expanding the article on the film Begotten and my goal it to get it to FA class status. I have been working on it for a while now but I need help correcting and expanding it and I was wondering if you would be willing to help. I am working on the article in my sandbox at the moment so any fixes and expansion will need to be made on that page. I also need help acquiring the original review of the film by Susan Sontag who was influential in getting the film released. Anyways just wanted to let you know that I have created a userspace for the collaborative expansion of the article on Begotten. I am still working on finding more people willing to work on different sections of the article (although I am fine if that doesn't work out). My goal is to get this article promoted to FA status so we will have to be very thorough on how we do things there. Once all the information is added and all sources are cited in the article we will need to work on adding the right quality images to the article. Thanks for your willingness to collaborate with me on this article hopefully we can get this promoted to FA status! :) Link: User:Paleface Jack/Begotten (Revision Draft) --Paleface Jack (talk) 17:06, 4 July 2017 (UTC)

I've found a source that confirms the so-called international dub as Toho's dub, or more technically, the dub that Toho commissioned from Frontier Enterprises, separate from the US English dub. Source comes from page 152 of Steve Ryfle's "Japan's Favorite Mon-Star". I've already added the info on the Gargantuas article but I thought you might wanna check it out, if you have the book but if not, you can easily find the entire book for free on google. Regarding the runtime, I know that Template:Infobox film clearly states to only add the theatrical running time but it also states Do not include any additional run times, such as a director's cut or an unrated version, without consensus. I think it should be fair that we should hold an open discussion to allow the US runtime in the article's infobox. It is a co-production between Japanese & American studios, after all. Also, the US version has many alterations & exclusive footage not found on the Japanese version. Thoughts? Armegon (talk) 08:24, 21 December 2017 (UTC)

Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:26, 18 January 2018 (UTC) Your reversion of a correction to "House (1977 film)" was in errorThe cat character, Shiro, is clearly heard being referred to as Shiro many times in the film itself. Source: House (1977) For those with difficulty parsing individual words in Japanese, the scene near the beginning where the characters are waiting outside the gate is an especially unambiguous example, as there is a line consisting solely of the cat being called after by name. Substitutions such as "Snowflake" and "Blanche" seen in some English subtitle files are arbitrary changes made by individual English subtitling teams, and the article "House (1977 film)" is about that film, not the whims of The Criterion Collection's subtitling team. It is inaccurate and confusing to refer to a character by a name that is not part of the original film and is never heard in the film itself, especially since someone seeking information about said film from a source they consider reputable may be specifically looking for clarification regarding Shiro's canonical name. An article about a film should convey accurate information about the actual film. Please do not undo corrections. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.0.65.194 (talk) 03:38, 21 January 2018 (UTC)

I was hoping you could review drastic changes I've made to Caché (film), an article you've edited in the past and which I imagine I can expand further. No one has objected as of yet, but among other edits I replaced the Plot section out of concerns the previous may have been copied (reported to Wikipedia:Copyright problems a few days ago); even if that website copied us rather than the other way around, I think the new one is a bit more Wikipedic. Like I said, no one has objected, but I'm weary I could have people yelling at me for this and that down the road, which has happened to me before. :) Ribbet32 (talk) 02:58, 22 January 2018 (UTC)

I'm so sorry it's taken this long, the last few weeks have been something of a nightmare in my schedule and availability. It should be ready for you in about an hour, give or take. The balance between straight documentary and art film is like nothing I've seen. While I don't expect anyone to like it as much as I do it is worth seeing for anyone with an interest in film history - and several other histories for that matter :-) Best regards. Whether you're a fan or not wouldn't really matter, long story short: I've uploaded images (an upgraded version of the show's title card from the Blu-ray) which met Wiki guidelines but another editor disagreed, undid my edits simply because I removed an image he uploaded, and he started an edit war. I'm not asking you to go over to the talk page and take my side but rather, I was hoping you'd bring your two cents on the matter. An unbiased perspective would be greatly appreciated. All the best bro! Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.Canterbury Tail talk 19:53, 15 February 2018 (UTC) Leftfield - LeftismMy edit of yesterday concerning the "genre" section (adding Progressive house and Electronica) has been removed. I think this Scott Pilgrim problem is getting out of hand. I was told that you are a reasonable guy, unlike TheOldJacobite, which BTW whenever I drop him a note he deletes it. This "WP:Wheight" thing is a joke I think, because we arn't doing it for the right films, e.g. I have tried to do it for "Shaun of the Dead" and "Hot Fuzz" and mine havn't been heeded like yours would. To answer your question on the page on "how is Japan involved?", the film was co produced with "Dentsu". Here is a list of all the production companies that produced the film and their respected countries as following: Universal Pictures (USA) Marc Platt Productions (USA) Big Talk Productions (UK) Closed on Mondays Entertainment (USA) Dentsu (Japan) Relativity Media (USA) Scott Pilgrim Productions (USA) BTW I have been scowging the internet for other sources and most of them seem to say just "USA". We should get our sources from other websites, not reviews that other people have written. I have spent all day writing this to get it right, and searching the internet for other sources and been in contact with them and the ones that responded to me said that they get their sources from you guys. With these "other sources" they are missing "Japan" (and some missing UK). In case you think I am lying about the companies, here is a link to my source. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0446029/companycredits?ref_=tt_dt_co These places are relying on us for our info. And FYI, I dont like TheOldJacobite, but I like you, because you listen to everyones point of view. And these people that I have emailed told me something else, they told me that some of these pages are hopelessly out of date thast some havn't been updated in 8 YEARS! This is all I can do and thank you for listening. 86.149.77.56 (talk) 18:22, 18 February 2018 (UTC)
What are you doing? You are ment to be helping me here on Scott Pilgrim vs the World, now you are siding with TheOldJacobite? Please help me here, I have gone through too much for them to not put Japan back on the page. I even sent Dentsu an email about the situation. Can we please work together on this?86.177.80.181 (talk) 10:13, 25 February 2018 (UTC)
Order of genres on Richard D. James AlbumHey, looks like the editor Gentlecollapse6 is editing the page again, changing the established order of genres as they are listed in the composition section for some unknown reason. Really don't understand this editor's reasoning in most cases, as they hardly ever provide edit summaries. Just a heads-up, anyway.
