In the Offaly GAA page, not written by me, he is listed with an Edit link to his name, as there is with all of the other team panel members. How, pray tell, can it be an offense to write a page about him?
As I said, I did not write the Offaly GAA article, or place the edit link on his name, or on the names of any of the others, and if we cant write articles on these, the pages should not be there.
Can we get someone senior to sort this issue out please? yes I appreciate that it seems that this article does not come close to satisfying some of the criteria in WP:MUSIC. However, as this band will never be able to officially release a single, ( the 'moral' censor boards in the Indian subcontinent are quite particular about banning songs which contain explicit lyrics, which is a particular motif of zeest songs) the band is already precluded from quite a few of the criteria mentoined in WP:MUSIC
However, this article does meet one criterion; it has been featured in the 'Mid day' a very popular newspaper in mumbai [[1]]
and on a news website [[2]]
I will also try and get a few more users from the Indian subcontinent to add thier views on the vfd page (we seem to be disproportionally represented on wiki)...anyway thanks for reading (Saurabhb14:41, 24 April 2006 (UTC))[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2006-04-24T14:41:00.000Z","author":"Saurabhb","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-Saurabhb-2006-04-24T14:41:00.000Z-Zeest","replies":["c-Coren-2006-04-24T17:32:00.000Z-Saurabhb-2006-04-24T14:41:00.000Z"]}}-->

Thank you for your reply. Let me just very briefly explain why I asked.
In this long comment I wrote: "Different people who speak or write about 'the new anti-Semitism' or 'a new anti-Semitism' attach different meanings to the expression. There are several concepts of 'new anti-Semitism'."
On the case page, you wrote: "The term new anti-Semitism has consistent meaning"
I don't think I can agree with you after my review of the literature. While there are subtle differences amongst users of the term, those are best left to explain in the article proper. Your point about the inclusiveness or not of "old anti-Semitism" is well taken, and I'll try to work it in the introduction. Mind you, I still think that's a comparatively minor point of difference since the users who use the inclusive form nonetheless recognize the fundamental (Left-based, ideological) concept (otherwise they wouldn't be using new anti-Semitism at all).
In the same comment I wrote that "a concept can't be controversial as such. Only some claim made _about_ the concept can be controversial."
(Do opponents object to this use: "there is no such thing as a new anti-Semitism" ?)
You stated that "Opponents of the term agree on the meaning of the term, but object to its use".
In order to claim (meaningfully) that there is no such thing as X, you have to agree on what X means in the first place. I can understand that "Floob" means "seven-legged horse" without agreeing that horses can have seven legs. Likewise, opponents of "new anti-Semitism" (that I've read) dispute its nature or existence (of the concept) but nonetheless understand what is meant by the term.
Perhaps "[...] but object to its use [...]" is poorly phrased. I'm wrestling with the actual text of the introduction to convey what I meant perhaps in a better way.
(I also wrote something similar in this comment on the case page)
So perhaps you misunderstood my comments or perhaps I've misunderstood your findings. In any case, it was a bit strange to be contradicted without any argument.

No. Simply put, I think your comments bring valuable information but that the place to expand on those topics is in the main article rather than the introduction. I just created a page with information on CLASS. It just got deleted. I am new to wikipedia and tried to read through all the policies. So based on that, just to be sure, I followed a structure in the article on Taproot Foundation to create this page. If you see, both articles were not that different. Can you give me some advise on how I can modify the CLASS page to keep it on wikipedia?
Sorry about deleating the quick delete tag. I didn't realize that you were supposed to keep it in there and then put the hang on tag in there. When I went to put it back in I realized I forgot the tag. Keep up the quick work.
Hi, I just found that you marked a bunch of newly created articles of questionable value for deletion. I am user:kaysov and have not been active lately. Would you please tell me how you monitor/discover newly created pages, apart from following the special page log for new pages? - Thanks

With regards to Jean Machine it was not intended to be a commercial page. I previously worked for the company and noticed stores like Off the Wall, Urban Behavior, Bluenotes all had their own pages so I began constructing one for Jean Machine. It did not have a lot of information but I was slowly building on it. I would appreciate you putting my work back up.
Thanks Darren This unsigned comment was left on my user page by Theheavyd at 2007-06-25 16:13:54

hello coren. i used to be a reporter with the sf chronicle in the 1980s. we ran numerous stories on a hundred monkeys, as they were, and still are, one of the most famous and notable ad agencies/branding firms in the country. why they are on deletion row and an agency like landor (another ad agency who cites no sources except for their website, mind you) is not, escapes common sense. as someone who dedicated numerous hours interviewing and writing about a hundred monkeys, please show them the respect they deserve.
Primary (original) research such as proposing theories and solutions, original ideas, defining terms, coining new words, etc. If you have done primary research on a topic, publish your results in other venues such as peer-reviewed journals, other printed forms,{I HAVE THESE}Italic text or respected online sites,{IF YOU WOULD LIKE A LIST I CAN SEND IT} and Wikipedia will report about your work once it becomes part of accepted knowledge. Not all information added to Wikipedia has to be from peer-reviewed journals, but please strive to make sure that information is reliable and verifiable. I believe this article was wrongly deleted. First all relevant resources were not presented for consideration of a save. As a visual artist the subject has been active since 1977 and work has been included in numerous domestic and international contexts, inclusive of venues such as NY's Guggenheim Museum, Asia Society, Berlin Germany's Berlinische Galerie and others. Those references exist on-line.
A request to re-edit should have been made before this material was deleted. Please return the contents of this article to its location where revision of this material can be made and contact me regarding revisions.
Hi, you bot says im copying text, which is true, but it is a quote from a book written almost 100 years ago. So there no copyright problem. Also, paraphrasing would put it out of context.

Not sure why but just (30/10/2011) got a notification saying this page is tagged for speedy deletion as it is a duplicate of Broxbourne Local Elections 2010. Clearly this is an automated search that has spotted similarities between pages even though they aren't the same - rerer to different elections in different years.
I can't see a speedy deletion tab in the page but could you please ensure this page isn't deleted.

Thank you for conducting search content on articles I posted. In regards to Chinese naval auxiliaries, I used the same format for different ships (see photos of different ships in the reference source). Per the reference source, these ship classes consist of only a single unit, so the only difference are pennant numbers. The more obvious difference is visual, when viewing the photos of these ships, they are readily distinguished, but I cannot post any photos due to copy right. This is why different ships appear very similar because I use the same format.
