Hello There :) we are a group of university students working on a project to better the Moroccan Web Content and we chose to work on a thesis relates to a Moroccan Author, unfortunately we haven't found anything related to it on wikipedia while he does exist, that is why we would like to request an article for creation, it's about the youngest Moroccan Author Hamza El Moutadir. Hi! Thanks for your message. I'm sorry, I don't have the spare time right now to offer much personal help.

Here's a Welcome to Wikipedia page with some useful content and links.

What you could do to get you started is go across to the Wikipedia Teahouse. It's "a friendly place where you can ask questions and get help in using and editing Wikipedia". Click on the blue button in the centre of the screen that reads "Click here to ask a question", and hopefully other editors will be able to advise you.

Ask at the Teahouse how to set up an account with a username, and ask about how to begin writing the article using a sandbox (a place where you can safely work on a draft article).

To create a biography of a living person, one of the main things you'll need to do is to establish Hamza El Moutadir's notability. For a short article, you'd probably need to find at least 2 or 3 reliable and independent sources to use as references, to show that the subject (the author) is noteworthy.

These would include things like articles in newspapers and news web sites, magazines, journals or books, or radio or television appearances in which the subject (the author) is given significant coverage, not just a passing mention; but not a self-published web site or someone's personal blog. All significant facts, especially if they are controversial, need a reliable source. Some basic details can use self-published sources (eg the author's web site) but they won't add to the author's notability; and don't make too much use of these primary (self-published) sources.

What you probably want to do after creating a user account is to create your draft article in your personal sandbox; and when it's ready, go back to the Teahouse and ask them how you can publish the draft article. Whatever you do: make sure that you have references in place before you move the article out of the sandbox and publish it, because otherwise a new page patroller might come along and delete the unfinished article because of its lack of notability.

Hi, I'm glad that you've registered as a user and created a draft article. Well done, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I see that you've submitted your draft for publication, and also that it's been declined four times now (on 6, 7, 10 and 11 March). This is because you have not been able to establish notability, especially WP:NAUTHOR, due to not being able to find sufficient notable, independent and reliable sources. It looks like you'll have to wait until you have some mainstream reviews; and (alas) such reviews may be hard to obtain since Hamza El Moutadir is a self-published author (using Lulu) and the mainstream media are reluctant to review such works. I've experienced similar difficulties as a self-published author, though the travel writer and author Tahir Shah (who has lived in Morocco) has pioneered self-pub and succeeded at this task.

I'm sorry that I can't be of more help right now. Just keep scouring the search results at Google and encourage Hamza El Moutadir to approach the media for reviews and articles about him. For example city, regional and national newspapers and magazines (they don't have to be written in English), or mainstream Moroccan news and cultural web sites. Can you locate this 23 January 2020 article from the Daily Times (Pakistan)? All I can find is the instagram screenshot. I can't find the article where it should be in the DT archives (page may shuffle down over time), though I note that the IG image says "e-paper" and I can't find anything there. The DT is bluelinked and looks like a reliable source. Esowteric+Talk 12:17, 11 March 2020 (UTC)

Also, if I search for "John Degrass", it finds zero results, unlike other DT reporters. I left a comment asking for the URL of the article and for some reason Hamza El Moutadir deleted my comment. Esowteric+Talk 13:11, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
