Now to add Palestinian culture/history/etc in the near future (I hope). My turn to see what I can dig up from that great city on the other side of the wall. Well done, very nice work. Ramallite(talk)20:50, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
On 2 January 2018, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Line the Label, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that so many people wanted a Line the Label jacket that the company's server crashed? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Line the Label. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Line the Label), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
To give a Dobos torte and spread the WikiLove, just place {{subst:Dobos Torte}} on someone else's talkpage, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend.
Thanks for your post at the AFD G. Many years ago they changed the "D" from deletion to discussion. I liked that because it meant we could be open to something being done to improve the article. I am glad you gave some thought to a redirect as well. I appreciate your input so I hope you enjoy these. They can be a bit sticky but my sweet tooth has taken a liking to them. Best regards. Here is a kopstoot for all the drama in your history. I couldn't find any Jenever on commons, so you have to mix it with a whiskey. I assume the effect will be similar.
Our milkman had such a car/cart. And many, many, many moons later the husband of a friend had an SRV-wagen from this brand. So, good memories. The Banner talk12:29, 16 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I tend to agree with your edit summary on the AfD, but I did want to mention that WP:ATTACK articles are subject to deletion when there is no previous version to which one can revert. Coretheapple (talk) 17:08, 3 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for sharing that! It's really sad when BLPs are abused for ATTACKs. I may write something about that later. I believe that anything that has to do with Israel and/or Palestine is over-politicized. When you try to de-politicize you also get attacked. I comment on about 95% of the Israel deletion queue that doesn't deal with the Israel-Palestine conflict. When it does, maybe 60%? gidonb (talk) 17:52, 3 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The entire area is a mess, and unfortunately due to the high volume of hostility and tendentiousness it tends to drive away editors, leaving only the true believers. Anyway, I was just interested by your edit summary and wanted to note that notability is not always the only criteria in AfDs. Coretheapple (talk) 17:54, 3 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I saw the debate, as User:Habst had tagged me, yet would be more hesitant to decide that Otterbeen was notable. Here, too, I have no access to articles. Let's assume that I accept that one article supports notability based on the title. Consistent with that logic, I would also need to reject the rest as not supporting notability as one can't have it both ways. Then Demulder and Otterbeen have one article. Yet, for Demulder it is more likely that additional notability-supporting sources exist. Soccer is better covered than athletics and Demulder played at the highest level. Look at the stats. User:Habst said that the number of sources for Otterbeen is greater than 150. It isn't. It's 24. That's a third of Demulder. Plus Demulder also played in Portugal. gidonb (talk) 03:52, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
BeanieFan11, I looked at the article and it is SIGCOV as I assumed. Still, I am unsure that I support keeping. I have supported the deletion without prejudice of such extreme stubs in the past. Also, I was pinged there and addressed here. I will sit this one out for now. gidonb (talk) 01:43, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
BeanieFan11, Another reason why I did not get into this is that you called upon me as your expert witness. That's a real honor. The debate went well for the keep-sayers and my intervention would not have helped this case. I hope you will consider me again another time! gidonb (talk) 12:58, 28 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the help, I am giving 100% to be able to maintain the articles by Noam Bettan and Maor Ashkenazi, I am correcting any errors that may exist, I am very convinced that these two articles can be saved but it is the decision to continue improving to avoid its erasure thanks for your help. I suspect you were on the talk page when you invoked Twinkle or whatever tool you were using. A talk page is not an article so its deletion would be discussed at MFD. -- Whpq (talk) 21:23, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, Gidonb. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or draft page you started, "Sandbox".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Hi Gidonb. Could you please add an inline citation that verifies Anduele Pryor's full name? I wasn't able to verify it using the sources in the article. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 17:16, 29 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
