- yes, the changes were made to remove content that appeared inflammatory ranter than unbiased. reference 4 Analysis: Gerrymandering has left texas voters with few options appears to be an opinion column rather than a empirical paper citing studies and statistics. reference 5 texas may have the worst gerrymander in the country also appears to be an another such hit piece with little to no substantial substance to back it up. conclusion: the deleted section was done to remove blame based on speculation and restore a less bias narrative. - unfortunately, i checked a second time and even clicked the undo in an attempt to discover where i could add a reason for the edit. while i did discover a space that appeared to be a place to input my reasoning, it did not appear to let my input any text even with text explicitly stating that i would be able to do so. apparent discrepancies like this one may be the reason i have not contributed any inputs to wiki in a very long time. - unfortunatley, as far as i am aware there is no way to change edit summaries after they have been submitted- there is other ways to communicate that info once the edit is one though. if you would like to discuss this information more and see if consensus can be reached on if that information belongs in the article, id be happy to do so on the talk page
