Problems

The code of long pages is not colored any more. You may see this problem on the pages of long gadgets. [2]

Changes this week

The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from July 7. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis from July 8. It will be on all Wikipedias from July 9 (calendar).
The "Page information" tool shows how many users watch the page. You can now see how many are active. [3] [4]
You can now translate articles into English with the new translation tool. [5]

RFCs

I am signed up to receive all RFCs. This worked fine with User:RFC bot but does not seem to work any-more. In fact I receive none of them. I notice a number of other users are receiving less RFCs than they ask for too. RFC watcher (talk) 22:22, 9 July 2015 (UTC)

You now see more warnings in the image viewer. They tell you to be careful when using the image, for example if it shows a person. [10]

Percy Jackson Task-force

Hi, I'm looking to help re-activate the Percy Jackson Task-force. As you are one of the few "inactive" or "unknown" members still actively editing Wikipedia, I wanted to extend an invitation for you to work with me to do this. If you are no longer interested, I'd appreciate your taking the time to move your username to the "inactive" list here or removing it altogether. And thanks for all you did before!

If you are interested, firstly I'd like to invite you to become a full member, as the requirements for membership are going to be lowered in the near future (I know they scared me away on the first try) -- or just a "supporter", if that's more your speed. I would also ask you to consider a proposal I have, which is that this task-force become the "Rick Riordan" task-force. I've suggested this because I think it would help keep the project active and also help stop some pretty widespread vandalism in articles referring to that author. My proposal in brief. I'm a relatively new Wikipedian, so I'd appreciate the advice and expertise of a more experienced user. You cannot use the compact user bar any more. [13]
You can change your options to see bigger images. [14]
You can watch short videos about how to use VisualEditor. [15]
You can now edit pages linked in "what links here" more easily. [16]

Problems

There was a problem with some Lua modules on July 22 and 23. Some pages using them did not list them in "what links here". You can fix those pages with a null edit: edit and save the page without making any change.
There was a problem with the abuse filter page on big wikis on July 23. It was due to a code error. [17]
