The fact was: 300 Jahre nach der Wasserprobe wurde Grace Sherwood vom Vorwurf freigesprochen, eine Hexe zu sein. The oldest United States Military Academy alumnus to receive the Medal of Honor, the highest military decoration awarded by the United States government, was John Cleveland Robinson, a non-graduating member of the class of 1839. The first alumnus of the Academy to perform actions to be recognized with the Medal of Honor was Charles Henry Tompkins, a non-graduating member of the class of 1851, while the last alumnus of the Academy to perform actions so recognized was Andre Lucas, a graduating member of the class of 1954. Two graduates, John Gregory Bourke (pictured) and Calvin Pearl Titus, received the Medal of Honor before being appointed to the Academy. Other notable Academy alumni who received the Medal of Honor include William Harding Carter, Douglas MacArthur, and Humbert Roque Versace.

I see you edited 4th Fighter Wing to change the number of USAF units that can trace their history "to another country" from three to two. I'm having trouble figuring out where either of these numbers comes from. I come up with either 0 or 8, depending on the meaning of "to another country" . The eight are the 23d Fighter Group (formed from the American Volunteer Group), the 74th, 75th and 76th Fighter Squadrons (formed from the 1st, 2d and 3d Pursuit Squadrons of the AVG), the 94th Fighter Squadron (formed in part from Escadrille N.124) and the 334th, 335th and 336th Fighter Squadrons (formed from RAF Eagle Squadrons). If we're talking about countries, rather than units, then 3 would be correct (UK, France, China). In any case, making this statement about the 4th Wing is inaccurate because it is its subordinate squadrons, not the wing headquarters (which was activated in 1947) that were formed from the Eagle Squadrons.--Lineagegeek (talk) 20:28, 8 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Franz Kafka (3 July 1883 – 3 June 1924) was a German-speaking Bohemian Jewish novelist and short-story writer, widely regarded as one of the major figures of 20th-century literature.
His work, which fuses elements of realism and the fantastic, typically features isolated protagonists facing what are now called "Kafkaesque" circumstances: bizarre or surrealistic predicaments complicated by incomprehensible bureaucracy. He explores themes of alienation, existential anxiety, guilt, and absurdity.
His best-known works include Die Verwandlung, Der Process, and Das Schloss.
Few of Kafka's works were published during his lifetime, and those that were received little public attention. In his will, he instructed his friend Max Brod to destroy his unfinished works, including three of his novels, but Brod ignored these instructions.
