This edit was not vandalism. It was just unsourced content. Next time, you should not state that such edits are vandalism in the edit summary. I replaced your vandalism warning in User talk:89.164.98.23 with an unsourced edit warning. Jako96 (talk) 09:24, 21 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

It's definitely vandalism, "Melty McMelters" is clearly an insult, not an actual nickname used by the fanbase. If you do a simple Google search you'll see this isn't used anywhere online. Timtjtim (talk) 09:26, 21 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
I'm so sorry, I apologize. I didn't notice that was an insult lmao. Jako96 (talk) 09:31, 21 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
No worries - "melt" is a British insult, see 7. on https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/melt#Noun :) Timtjtim (talk) 09:35, 21 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, I see now. Jako96 (talk) 09:40, 21 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

July 2025

Hi, you told me my editing to Mandy was disruptive - please tell me how this was. I wrote the Main Cast section on my own - just because everything nowadays is AI doesn't mean my writing was. Please don't make assumptions. 89.242.91.170 (talk) 09:53, 24 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

As I said on your talk page, you duplicated a load of information [1]. You also incorrectly claimed Mandy is Cockney [2]. This is the sort of thing an AI would make up, so you can see why people assumed.
Please be careful with your edits. Timtjtim (talk) 09:58, 24 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
Hi, "claim" is the wrong way to phrase this. I did get an ethnicity incorrect and you laid into me. Assumptions can lead to poorer communications and are one of the worst things to do imo. Some people think everyone is AI nowadays though so I'm not rlly suprised a lot of people thought it was AI. 89.242.91.170 (talk) 11:41, 24 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
I didn't lay into you. I undid the changes and posted a warning on your page explaining what I had done, and why. Timtjtim (talk) 11:46, 24 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

First, read the notice I sent you which tells you how to include a reliable source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citing_sources. The correct way is not to add it in the edit summary!
Second, that page doesn't say anything about the release date, so I don't see why you think it proves it was released on 11 October? Timtjtim (talk) 15:10, 28 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, it's my first time using this format, so I apologize if I made a mistake. I mentioned that date because it's when the song could first be requested on the radio. I understand if that's not enough to confirm the official release date, but I thought it might be helpful. Thanks for your patience! . Since the song doesn't have an official release date, I thought that at least this one has some kind of basis.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.34.33.117 (talk) 15:08, 28 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

I understand - don't worry :) Do take a look at the linked page to understand what we need from references. Lots of people trust Wikipedia, so it's important that it's correct! Timtjtim (talk) 15:17, 28 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Calling paramilitary peasants bandits a soldiers, is insulting for soldiers Amily6 (talk) 17:20, 4 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/soldier#Noun
A member of a ground-based army, of any rank, but especially an enlisted member.
seems reasonable to me. If you find that lots of WP:RSes use a different term, feel free to change it with relevant citations.
next time consider replying to the message on your talk page, not adding a new topic on mine, as it keeps the conversation together. Link for others' reference: [3] Timtjtim (talk) 17:24, 4 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
Of what army were those bandits members? It was a group of peasant without ranks, attacking for robberies. Discussion in article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Haydamak#Paramilitary_bandits_are_not_soldiers Amily6 (talk) 17:34, 4 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Can the Tehuti Miles one be undone as well due to Tehuti Miles & Elijah King being the ring name of Ashante "Thee" Adonis in Ring of Honor before he went to WWE and had his name changed to Ashante "Thee" Adonis. ~2025-38495-15 (talk) 17:13, 5 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Amberlit12: I strongly suggest turning down the temperature lest you find yourself at ANI and blocked. I should also let you know that South Asia is a contentious topic and care must be taken when editing in this topic area. Casting aspersions about editors and making personal attacks are things that are not taken lightly. Aydoh8[what have I done now?] 13:35, 27 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

North-South Divide in Taiwan

I saw your message at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:~2026-30032-95#c-Timtjtim-20260518143500-May_2026.

I think I was just asking for a reference. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the neutral point of view. ~2026-30032-95 (talk) 14:39, 18 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

@~2026-30032-95 The lede of the Taipai article is Taipei, officially Taipei City, is the capital and a special municipality of Taiwan. so the statement in the article is correct, and per WP:NOTCITE there's no need to cite general common knowledge, with the first example of that being a capital city. Timtjtim (talk) 14:45, 18 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Oh! Okay. Thanks for letting me know the common understandings of Taipei and capital city, an abstract topic. ~2026-30032-95 (talk) 15:01, 18 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
@~2026-30032-95 no worries - let me know if there's anything else! Timtjtim (talk) 15:20, 19 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Information icon Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit that you made to User talk:Raihanur has been reverted or removed because it was a misuse of a warning or blocking template. Please use the user warnings sandbox for any tests you may want to do, or take a look at our introduction page to learn more about contributing to the encyclopedia. If an edit seems like vandalism but you cannot confirm that it likely is, don't warn the user. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page.
Automated warning templates are meant for clear vandalism or disruption, not for content disputes regarding WP:WEIGHT and section relevance. Please use the article talk page for editorial disagreements. — Raihanur (talk) 15:01, 28 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

@Raihanur It was not a misuse of a warning. You're blanking an entire criticism section. That's clearly inappropriate, and looks very NPOV to me.
Putting a "please don't template me" message doesn't mean you get to just ignore warnings, or, even worse, claim I misused it. If you think the entire criticism section is wrong, take it to the Talk page, don't just blank it. Timtjtim (talk) 15:08, 28 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Removing text that violates Wikipedia policies (like WP:WEIGHT) is not "blanking", it is standard editorial maintenance, more like a good-faith edit. If a section shouldn't be there in the first place, removing it entirely is the correct action, not a policy violation. — Raihanur (talk) 15:22, 28 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
But yeah, I agree that using the talk page would be the most appropriate solution... — Raihanur (talk) 15:29, 28 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. Timtjtim (talk) 15:38, 28 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
I note this is the second time you've removed an NPOV warning from your talk page. You're entitled to remove them once you've read and understood - but it appears you've not read and understood given it's continuing...? Timtjtim (talk) 15:14, 28 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Per WP:NOTWALLOFSHAME, blanking or removing a template from my own talk page is explicitly permitted and serves as an acknowledgment that it has been read. It is not a policy violation, nor does it require anyone's permission. — Raihanur (talk) 15:25, 28 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Yes. I've read the policy. Just noting that this seems to be an ongoing issue for you. Timtjtim (talk) 15:38, 28 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
