DYK for Water World Lloret

On 3 December 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Water World Lloret, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Water World Lloret has been described as "a favourite of foreign tourists", with 60 per cent of its visitors coming from outside Spain? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Water World Lloret. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Water World Lloret), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to nominate it.

About Selina Wamucii

Hello, I noticed you used Selina Wamucii as a source on Inga exilis. It is an unreliable source due to being generated by a Large Language Model. Other plant sources to avoid for this reason include the websites Botanikks and botanicalrealm. If you are looking for common names of plant species a good place to start is searching Archive.org's collection of books. To check the classification information Plants of the World Online is usually the best source. It can also be easily referenced using the Template:Cite POWO. If you have any questions WP:PING me here or ask on my talk page. 🌿MtBotany (talk) 16:53, 28 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

OK, thanks for letting me know. I didn’t really realise that and I was only using it in an attempt to expand the article (I got there via the ‘Random article’ button.
Again, thank you for letting me know!

Making a mistake is no big deal. It is hard to tell LLM sources from good ones these days and it is part of why I look for editors being mislead by those site.
And you inspired me to update the IUCN status and see if I can track down a copy of Pennington's scientific description. If you get interested in working on plants feel free to ask me questions. Lots of work to be done on them all over the world. 🌿MtBotany (talk) 17:26, 28 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
Fair enough.

Patrick Duffy

FYI I reverted your edits to Patrick Duffy... It appears the one who died is Patrick Duffy (British politician)... Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 17:58, 3 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Sorry about that; it was completely unintentional.
Thank you very much!

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Township (video game), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Level up. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
