I understand you're an experienced editor on a different Wiki, but may not be as familiar with enWiki rules. I want to raise two concerns:

The two subpages of your user page Ancient Mathematics and History contain numerous links to a YouTube channel that seems to belong to you. Even in user space, this is regarded as promotional and is not allowed. Pages like this are subject to speedy deletion under WP:G11. Please move them off-site so you don't lose your material. (Also, in future please use your sandbox, not your user page, for page creation.)

Your addition to Zeev Zohar may represent text from an LLM. As of March 2026, enWiki does not allow this, see policy WP:NOLLM. It is also unsourced and appears promotional, so I'm going to remove it. Please do not use LLMs to contribute any text to enWiki. We would welcome a human-written neutral version.

Hello,

The two subpages of my user page Ancient Mathematics and History are the beginning of a project I am doing for the Israeli wikimedia. I am one of the members of the board and the project was explained on 2.2026. The whole idea in a nutshell is to enable kids (specially 10-14 of age) see a short video, get about 10 suggestions of relevant Wikipedia articles to read. Those videos you can hear in 40 languages (courtesy of youtube). I am writing the e-mail address of the Israeli wikimedia Executive Director so you can verify with her. If I am doing a project for wikimedia, I should be able to give access from my user page. Lastly, there was an article that was moved to a draft - see Draft:Win at Work with Lessons from the Chessboard and it has three sources. I write this regarding your "It is also unsourced and appears promotional, so I'm going to remove it. " If a writer writes his third book, all of them are so specialized that at best he will sell 1000 copies, I cannot think that adding another book is really promotional but for me it really does not matter. I was referring to your edit to Zeev Zohar as the draftified "Win at Work" article presumably had an adequate comment from the editor (not me) who draftified it. The LLM is the biggest problem here, it really is not allowed (since March 2026) and we take this rule very seriously.

Every source I consulted about this book says that its title is Business Checkmate: Win at Work with Lessons from the Chessboard. The url of pages selling it sometimes shortens this to "win at work with lessons from the chessboard" but the articles never do. I think that either an LLM used in drafting or an LLM summary of sources has shortened the title used in your edit and draft. This is doing Zohar's book no favors, and maybe shows why we don't allow LLM here. M kuhner (talk) 04:35, 21 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hello again, You are perfectly correct regarding the LLM-generated article. This is probably one of the many differences between the English wikipedia and the Hebrew one - the Hebrew Wikipedia does not have a prohibition on using AI to help write articles. However, it also has not adopted a final, official AI-specific policy. Its page “Wikipedia: Artificial Intelligence” is explicitly marked as a draft, not binding policy. Please be aware that your edit to the English version of Zeev Zohar violated our policies here, and also misstated the title of the book. enWiki is very strict on the LLM issue. Please don't add LLM text here, and don't translate Hebrew LLM text to English and add it here. We are not satisfied with the accuracy of LLMs, especially for sourcing. Thank you.
