Water main break near Vapiano

NBC4 says that M St. between 16th and Conn. will be closed due to a water main break that won't be fixed until 11pm tonite. Should we call Vapiano ahead of time to see if they're open?--FeanorStar7

I just called the restaurant to see. The man on the phone had no idea about the water break and said that they were currently open. He expected them to continue to be open, but suggested that we could always call and confirm again later. The restaurant is apparently just on the west side of the intersection that is closed. Motorists are "advised to avoid the area" (see: NBC story). The number is 202-640-1868. That said, I'd be fine with rescheduling if people wanted to. Things could get worse (or better).
