Meet-up of those interested in promoting Wikipedia in Goa. January 16, 2013 from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm (confirmed) at the Krishnadas Shama Central Library in Panjim.

On the Wikipedia birthday, we're planning to have a small meet-up at the Krishnadas Shama Central Library, also aimed at taking forward the idea to build the GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums) idea in Goa. The goal is to build a presence for such institutions on the Wikipedia. For some initial efforts, please see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goa_State_Central_Library

If you are a Wikipedian (or would like to be), you're most welcome to join in. If you can, bring along your digital camera and get ready to share your photographic and editing skills. We could use the couple of hours to click photographs, and get references from the library which could then be used to upload to the Wikipedia. You would be contributing to building a lasting resource in cyberspace.
