Roundup

The day started at 10:00 with a WikiBomb focusing on Noongar knowledge (Noongar kaartdijin) there was much activity on en.wp as result and lots of discussions about the development of nys.wp which has started in the Incubator. The SLWA of provided space for the WikiBomb and offer to host further WikiBombs/workshops focusing on Noongar kaartdijin. Following the Wikibomb we set up camp in our usual location of the Aroma Cafe to discuss many issues pertaining to the community these included the creation of WMAU WA Branch which would be a locally focused group under the banner of Wikimedia Australia after discussing the concept, exploring the benefits and the disadvantages the consensus was to further prusue this option. We also discussed m:Wikimania 2017 bids and have assembled a team to progress the bid, we had identified 3 locations that could host the conference PCEC, UWA and Curtin University. Gnangarra
