Wikimedia Taiwan (中華民國維基媒體協會) established in 2007. It is a non-profit organzation that serve the region of Taiwan. It aims to promote Wikimedia projects of Wikimedia Foundation. The mission of the chapter is as following:

  1. To popularize Wikimedia projects and relevant business.
  2. To popularize the ideas of Wikimedia projects such as knowledge sharing, free content, collaboration, and etc.
  3. To cooperate with relevant organizations and projects which support the objectives of Wikimedia Foundation.
  4. To organize various campaign, meet-up, education, and training events.
  5. To safeguard the lawful right of members.
