Zinc finger protein 277 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ZNF277 gene (previously ZNF277P).[5][6][7][8] ZNF277 is predicted to be a transcription factor which is involved in regulating cellular senescence.[9] The gene ZNF277 was truncated from its ancestral form, leading to it be labeled as a pseudogene in some places, but is now thought to produce a functionally modified protein.[7][8]
