Adam Smith
Adam Smith, (doyptur 5. juni 1723, deyður 17. juli 1790) var moralheimsspekingur og grundleggjari av samfelagsbúskapi sum vísind.
Adam Smith varð føddur í Kirkcaldy í Eysturskotlandi. Føðingardagur hansara er ókendur.
Høvuðsverk hansara "An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations" varð útgivið í 1776 og gjørdist grundarlagið fyri liberalismuni sum búskaparrák.
