Bangkok (tailendskt: กรุงเทพ ฯ, กรุงเทพมหานคร ฯ) er høvuðsstaður í Tailandi. Bangkok eitur í veruleikanum Krung Thep Mahanakhon.[1] Hann er størsti býur í Tailandi, 14,5 mió. íbúgvar (við forstøðum). Eftir almennum hagtølum búgva seks mió. fólk í Bangkok, men tað rætta er, at helst búgva úti við 15 mió. fólk. Býurin er bygdur á Menam-oyrunum, og fyrr var mesti flutningurin eftir grivnum siglingarveitum. Enn eru fáir høvuðsvegir, og almenna flutningskervið er vánaligt. Mongu listskrýddu templini í Bangkok hava altíð drigið ferðafólk úr øllum heiminum at koma hagar at síggja hesa vøkru byggilist. Í 2010 hava verið yvir 11,3 milliónir vitjandi.[2]

Bangkok verður tíðum kallaður Eysturlanda Venezia.[3]
