Pretoria
Pretoria er ein býur í Suðurafrika. Síðan desember 2000 er hann partur av Tshwane stórbýarøkinum (City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality). Býurin liggur í landslutinum Gauteng, uml. 55 kilometrar norðan fyri Johannesburg.
Pretoria er ein av teimum trimum høvuðsbýnum í landinum. Í Suðurafrika eru tríggir høvuðsstaðir: Ríkisfyrisitingin er í Pretoria, tingið í Høvdastaði og dómstólarnir í Bloemfontein.[1]
Søga
Pretoria varð grundlagdur í 1855. Í 2011 búðu har fleiri enn 741 túsund fólk.
