Biberstein est une commune suisse du canton d'Argovie, située dans le district d'Aarau.
Histoire
Biberstein fait partie de la seigneurie du même nom jusqu'en 1335. La seigneurie devient une commanderie des chevaliers de Saint-Jean. Berne occupe la commanderie dès 1527 et la transforme en bailliage.
Population
La commune compte 1 657 habitants au 31 décembre 2023 pour une densité de population de 403 hab/km2[1]. Sur la période 2010-2019, sa population a augmenté de 13,4 % (canton : 12,2 % ; Suisse : 9,4 %)[2].
