Biographie
Carrière en club
Il est choisi par les Canadiens de Montréal au deuxième tour en 56e position lors du repêchage d'entrée dans la LNH 2008. Il passe professionnel en 2013 avec les Bulldogs de Hamilton dans la Ligue américaine de hockey.
Le , il signe un contrat d'une saison de 830 000 $ avec les Blues de Saint-Louis.

Il représente les États-Unis au niveau international. Il prend part aux sélections jeunes.
