GrandOptical est une enseigne et un groupe français dans le secteur de l'optique.
Dates importantes
En 1989, le 1er magasin GrandOptical est ouvert en région parisienne, au sein du centre commercial Belle Épine, à Thiais. L'année suivante, dix magasins sont inaugurés. En 1999, le magasin des Champs-Élysées, alors ouvert en 1991, double sa surface, montant à 1 000 m2[réf. nécessaire].
En 1995, GrandOptical s'internationalise et ouvre son premier magasin en Espagne.
En 2000, l'enseigne compte soixante magasins. En 2005, le fonds d'investissements néerlandais HAL Investments acquiert GrandVision, la société mère de GrandOptical[réf. nécessaire].
En 2007, GrandOptical inaugure sa franchise et fusionne avec 105 magasins Visual. L'année suivante, GrandOptical ouvre son 200e magasin à l'occasion de ses vingt ans[réf. nécessaire].
En 2021, le groupe franco-néerlandais GrandVision est cédé par HAL Investments à la multinationale franco-italienne EssilorLuxottica[réf. nécessaire].
