Géographie
Großkmehlen se situe dans le Schraden, mais pas dans la Lusace.
La commune comprend les quartiers de Frauwalde, Großkmehlen et Kleinkmehlen.
Histoire
Kleinkmehlen est le village le plus ancien. Großkmehlen est mentionné pour la première fois en 1205.
