La Hsp10 (Heath Shock Protein) est une protéine de choc thermique qui a pour rôle (entre autres) de permettre la bonne conformation des protéines dans la matrice mitochondriale. Elle est codée par le gène HSPE1 (heat shock protein family E member 1)[1]. Hsp10 est une chaperonine mitochondriale importante car elle participe à la réponses biologiques contre le stress environnemental[2].
