Synopsis
La carrière et la vie du capitaine John Hoskins, qui perdit une jambe lors de la bataille du golfe de Leyte, résista aux tentatives de le mettre à la retraite et poursuivit son service militaire avant d'être promu amiral et de prendre le commandement d'un porte-avions pendant la guerre de Corée.
