Notes de production
Le film est tourné aux Philippines sous le titre provisoire de The Prescription Revolution[2].
Roger Corman avait un contrat aux Philippines avec un jeune producteur local, Cirio H. Santiago. Corman voulait fournir à Santiago un projet de scénario, et Viola le lui fournit en un après-midi, ce qui permit la réalisation du film. Jonathan Demme dirigea la seconde unité de tournage, et fit impression sur Roger Corman au point que ce dernier l'encouragea dans ses débuts de réalisateur dans Caged Heat (1974)[3].
