CHES(N-사이클로헥실-2-아미노에탄설폰산, N-cyclohexyl-2-aminoethanesulfonic acid)은 완충제이다. CHES 완충액은 pH 8.6–10 범위에서 유용하다.[1]
일반적으로 흰색 결정성 분말로 나타난다.
불순물의 영향
CHES (및 설포닐에틸 완충액인 MES, BES, PIPES)의 상업적 제조에는 RNA의 폴리음이온 모방체인 오리고(비닐설폰산) (OVS) 오염물질이 포함될 수 있으며, 이는 RNA 결합 단백질 및 효소의 강력한 (pM) 억제제가 될 수 있다.[2]
