IBM 1070

IBM 1070 프로세스 통신 시스템(IBM 1070 Process Communication System)은 1964년 공정 산업(석유 정제, 철강, 제약 및 기타 산업)을 대상으로 발표된, 아날로그-디지털 변환 및 디지털-아날로그 변환 기능을 갖춘 IBM의 통신 시스템이다.

구성

1070 시스템은 다음과 같은 장치들로 구성될 수 있었다.

  • IBM 1026: IBM 1030/1050/1060/1070 전송 제어 장치
  • IBM 1071: 터미널 제어 장치
  • IBM 1072: 터미널 멀티플렉서
  • IBM 1073: 래칭 접점 작동 모델 1
  • IBM 1073: 카운터 터미널 모델 2
  • IBM 1073: 디지털-펄스 변환기 모델 3
  • IBM 1074: 이진 디스플레이
  • IBM 1075: 십진 디스플레이
  • IBM 1076: 수동 이진 입력
  • IBM 1077: 수동 십진 입력
  • IBM 1078: 펄스 카운터

IBM 시스템/360 또는 IBM 시스템/370 컴퓨터 측에서는 IBM 2701 데이터 어댑터 장치, 2702 데이터 통신 장치 또는 기타 원격 통신 장치를 통해 연결이 이루어졌다.

1070 시스템은 IBM 시스템/360이 발표된 시점인 1964년 4월에 함께 발표되었으며, 이듬해부터 사용 가능해졌다.
