iPadOS 27은 애플의 아이패드용 운영 체제인 여덟 번째 주요 판올림이다. 2026년 6월 8일, 연례 세계 개발자 회의(WWDC)에서 IOS 27, macOS 골든게이트, watchOS 27, visionOS 27, TvOS 27과 함께 발표되었다.[1][2][3] 이는 IPadOS 26의 직접적인 후속 버전이다.

iPadOS 27은 애플 A13, 애플 A12Z, 애플 M1 칩 이상을 탑재한 아이패드에서만 구동되며, 아이패드 (8세대), 아이패드 미니 (5세대), 아이패드 에어 (3세대) 및 아이패드 프로 (3세대)에 대한 지원을 중단한다. 또한 7.9인치 또는 10.5인치 디스플레이를 탑재한 모든 아이패드에 대한 지원을 중단한다.

지원 기기

iPadOS 27은 아이패드 (8세대), 아이패드 미니 (5세대), 아이패드 에어 (3세대), 아이패드 프로 (3세대)를 포함하여 애플 A12 또는 애플 A12X 칩을 탑재한 모든 기기에 대한 지원을 중단한다. 다만, 애플 A12Z 칩을 사용하는 아이패드 프로 (4세대)는 계속 지원된다.

iPadOS 27은 아이패드 (8세대), 아이패드 미니 (5세대), 아이패드 에어 (3세대) 등 흰색 베젤이 남아 있는 모든 아이패드에 대한 지원을 중단한다. 이는 11인치 디스플레이, 헤드폰 잭 없음, Face ID, 홈 버튼 없음 사양의 아이패드에 대한 지원을 중단하는 첫 iPadOS 버전이다. 아이패드 (9세대)는 10.2인치 디스플레이, 홈 버튼, 헤드폰 잭을 갖춘 기기 중 유일하게 지원되는 아이패드이다.

애플 인텔리전스 기능은 아이패드 미니 (7세대), 아이패드 에어 (5세대), 아이패드 프로 (5세대) 이상에 탑재된 최소 애플 A17 Pro 또는 M1 칩을 필요로 한다. 기기가 애플 인텔리전스를 지원하더라도 향상된 Siri 음성이나 향상된 온디바이스 받아쓰기와 같은 일부 기능은 최소 12GB의 통합 메모리를 갖춘 M4 칩 이상의 아이패드 모델에서만 사용할 수 있다.[4]
