《Life Sentence》는 대한민국의 알앤비, 재즈 보컬리스트 JK 김동욱의 첫 정규 음반이다. 2002년 5월 18일, 서울음반에서 발매되었으며, 발매 당시 RIAK 차트 10위를 기록하고 약 106,052장이 판매되었다.
배경
JK 김동욱은 캐나다 Humber College에서 재즈 보컬과를 졸업한 후 귀국하여 영화 《조폭 마누라》 OST 〈편지〉와 드라마 《위기의 남자》 OST 〈미련한 사랑〉으로 이름을 알렸다.[1] 이후 발표된 본 음반에는 가수 이현우, 작곡가 유해준, 이병훈, 강호정, 연주자 함춘호, 강수호, 이태윤 등이 참여했다.[2]
비주얼보다 보컬로만 평가받았다는 점에서 "한여름의 단비 같은 해갈"이라는 평가를 얻었다.[3]
