SIM, Sim, sim은 다음을 가리키는 말이다.

시뮬레이션(simulation)의 준말
보안 정보 관리(security information management)
심시티에서는 시민을 일컬어 심이라고 한다.
세컨드 라이프에서는 하나의 지역(region)을 심이라고 한다. 보통 심 하나에 이름이 하나씩 있으며, 일부 심같은 경우에는 번호를 붙여서 표기하기도 한다.
SIM 카드는 가입자 식별 모듈을 구현한 IC 카드로, 스마트폰을 위시한 GSM 단말기의 필수 기술이다.
