The Open Door

The Open Door(디 오픈 도어)는 미국의 록 밴드 에바네센스의 두 번째 스튜디오 음반으로, 2006년 9월 25일 윈드업 레코드에 의해 발매되었다. 이 음반은 처음에 2006년 3월에 발매될 예정이었으나 기타리스트 테리 볼사모의 뇌졸중, 밴드의 전 매니저의 부재, 윌 보이드와 벤 무디의 탈퇴의 결과로 연기되었다. 이 음반은 밴드의 새 출발을 상징적으로 표출하고 있으며 심포닉 메탈, 여러 노래 합창 사용 등 새로운 요소를 이전 음악 스타일에 통합시켰다. 이 음반을 써내는 과정은 완수까지 18개월이 넘게 걸렸다.
