진영읍(進永邑)은 대한민국 경상남도 김해시의 읍이다. 전국적인 명성의 특산물인 진영단감의 원산지이며, 창원시 근교 지역으로서 개발 수요가 급증하고 있다. 산업 입지, 정주 공간 등 성장 잠재력이 풍부한 지역이며, 교통의 편리함과 유통의 활성화로 먹거리(갈비) 등 소비문화가 중심인 형태를 유지하고 있다. 현재 김해시의 읍과 면 중에서 유일하게 시내 동 지역과 붙어있지 않다.[1]
