早年生涯
沙亞的足球生涯起步於塞內加爾的Génération Foot足球會[4]。
梅斯
2016年7月13日，沙亞與法甲球隊梅斯簽下了首張職業合約，為期5年[5]，並在同年8月13日對陣里爾的法甲比賽上演地標戰，於第70分鐘後備上場，並博得一球十二碼。梅斯最終以3-2險勝。
雷恩

2015年，沙亞以17歲之齡，入選了塞內加爾U23的非洲U23國家盃參賽名單[20]，並上場三次，協助球隊取得殿軍[21][22]。
2016年8月，沙亞首次入選塞內加爾國家隊[23]，並於9月3日對納米比亞的2017年非洲國家盃外圍賽中上演國家隊地標戰，在67分鐘入替傷出的萨迪奥·马内[24]。
2017年1月8日，沙亞於對陣利比亞的友誼賽射入奠勝一球，亦為個人首個國際賽入球[25]。
