圣马力诺共参加过14次欧洲歌唱大赛（截至2024年）[1]。圣马力诺首次在2008年参赛，并在2011年之后一直参赛。前四次参赛中圣马力诺都没有进入决赛，在2014年首次进入决赛。

Valentina Monetta（英语：Valentina Monetta）在2012年、2013年和2014年代表圣马力诺参赛，这让她成为首位连续三年参赛的圣马力诺歌手[1]。2017年她同另外一个歌手一起代表圣马力诺参赛，她从而成为欧洲歌唱大赛史上参赛次数最多的女歌手。
