Obatala (simak; atau Oriṣanla) adalah raja seluruh oriṣa dalam agama Yoruba, yang diyakini menciptakan Bumi (Ile Ayé) dan umat manusia. Dalam beberapa versi cerita, ia gagal dalam tugasnya karena minum tuak nira setelah dicobai oleh dewa Eshu dan dikalahkan oleh saudara kecilnya Oduduwa.[3]
