AM dapat mengacu pada beberapa hal berikut:

  • Am - tidak terbatas pada orang atau golongan tertentu; umum; universal; Jika dipakai pada Gereja (Gereja Am) berarti gereja yang bersifat Kristiani atau bermakna segenap orang yang percaya kepada Yesus Kristus di seluruh dunia dan sepanjang masa, tanpa memandang "denominasi"
  • modulasi amplitudo (bahasa Inggris: amplitude modulation), juga sebuah singkatan yang sering digunakan untuk menandai gelombang radio
  • Amerisium, unsur kimia sintetik dalam sistem periodik unsur yang memiliki lambang Am dan nomor atom 95
