Aglaonike

Aglaonike atau Aganike dari Thessalia (bahasa Yunani Kuno: Ἀγλαονίκη, Aglaoníkē) merupakan seorang astronom Yunani pada abad ke-2 atau ke-1 SM.[1] Ia disebutkan di dalam tulisan-tulisan Plutarkhos[2] dan di dalam scholia kepada Apollonios dari Rodos[3] sebagai seorang astronom wanita dan sebagai putri Hegetor (atau Hegemon) dari Thessalia. Ia dianggap sebagai penyihir karena kemampuannya membuat Bulan menghilang dari langit, yang dianggap berarti dapat memprediksikan waktu dan area umum di mana Gerhana bulan akan terjadi.[4][5]
