Terabu (Bischofia) adalah genus tumbuhan dalam famili Phyllanthaceae yang pertama kali dideskripsikan sebagai genus pada tahun 1827. [2] [3] Ia berasal dari selatan Tiongkok, anak benua India, Queensland, New Guinea, dan pelbagai pulau di Pasifik. [4] [5] Ia adalah satu-satunya anggota tribus Bischofieae. Mereka dioecious, dengan bunga jantan dan betina pada tanaman terpisah, [6] tetapi jarang berumah satu. [7]

Genus Bischofia dinamai Gottleib Wilhelm TG Bischoff, 1797–1854, ahli botani Jerman, [8] oleh Karl Blume. [9]
