Murai atau kucica [1] merupakan burung pemakan serangga berukuran sedang (beberapa juga makan buah beri dan buah lainnya) dalam genus Copsychus. Burung jenis ini banyak ditemukan di area taman dan hutan di Afrika dan Asia.

Genus Copsychus diperkenalkan oleh naturalis jerman Johann Georg Wagler pada tahun 1827.[2] Satu jenis spesies yang kemudian ditunjuk sebagai murai kampung.[3] Nama Copsychus diambil dari bahasa yunani Kuno kopsukhos atau kopsikhos yang berarti "burung hitam".[4]

Kucica Seychelles adalah salah satu burung yang paling terancam punah di dunia, dengan populasi kurang dari 250.
