Compagnie de Chine (berarti "Perusahaan Tiongkok") adalah perusahaan perdagangan dimiliki Kerajaan Prancis yang didirikan pada tahun 1660 oleh Jules Mazarin dan beberapa anggota Katolik Compagnie du Saint-Sacrement, untuk mengirim penginjil ke Asia (awalnya Uskup François Pallu, Pierre Lambert de la Motte, dan Ignace Cotolendi dari Missions étrangères de Paris).[1] Perusahaan ini mencontoh Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie (VOC).[2]

Sebuah kapal dibangun di Belanda oleh pemilik kapal Fermanel, tetapi kapal tersebut kandas segera setelah diluncurkan.[3] Satu-satunya penyelesaian yang tersisa bagi para penginjil adalah melakukan perjalanan darat, karena Portugal kemudian menolak menerima penginjil non-Padroado dengan kapal, dan Belanda serta Inggris menolak menerima penginjil Katolik.[4]

Pada tahun 1664, Compagnie de Chine kemudian digabungkan oleh Jean-Baptiste Colbert dengan Compagnie d'Orient dan Compagnie de Madagascar menjadi Compagnie des Indes Orientales.[5]

Compagnie de Chine jilid kedua didirikan pada tahun 1698.[6]

Compagnie de Chine dihidupkan kembali pada tahun 1723.[7]
