Janji kampanye

Janji pemilu atau janji kampanye adalah janji atau jaminan yang dibuat kepada publik oleh kandidat atau partai politik yang berupaya memenangkan pemilu.

Di seluruh dunia Barat, partai-partai politik cenderung tidak memenuhi janji kampanye mereka.[1] Di Amerika Serikat, posisi platform memberikan petunjuk penting mengenai kebijakan yang akan dijalankan oleh partai-partai AS. Selama 30 tahun terakhir, anggota Kongres dari Partai Demokrat dan Republik masing-masing memberikan suara sesuai dengan platform partai mereka sebesar 74% dan 89%.[2]
