Kepangeranan
Kepangeranan adalah sebuah negara yang diperintah oleh seorang pangeran atau putri. Bentuk pemerintahan ini merupakan hal yang lumrah pada Abad Pertengahan. Kepangeranan yang masih ada hingga kini di antaranya: Andorra, Monako dan Liechtenstein. Contoh kepangeranan subnasional seperti Asturias di Spanyol, dan Wales di Britania Raya.
Ada beberapa negara yang mengaku sebagai kepangeranan, tetapi tidak diakui negara lain:
- Sealand (sebuah benteng laut di lepas pantai Britania)
- Seborga (sebuah kota kecil di Italia)
- Hutt River di Australia
- Kepangeranan Wy di Australia
Negara-negara ini merupakan contoh negara mikro.
