Krakatoa, East of Java adalah sebuah film bencana Amerika 1969 yang dibintangi oleh Maximilian Schell dan Brian Keith.[1] Film tersebut dinominasikan untuk Efek Visual Terbaik (Oscar). Pada 1970an, film tersebut dirilis ulang dengan judul Volcano.
Ceritanya berdasarkan pada peristiwa saat erupsi 1883 dari sebuah gunung berapi di pulau Krakatau, yang sebenarnya berada di barat Jawa. Para karakternya menyelamatkan diri dengan menggunakan kargo mutiara dari sebuah kapal tenggelam di dekat gunung berapi tersebut.
