Leading edge slot

Sebuah Leading edge slot atau slot terdepan adalah fitur aerodinamis tetap dari beberapa sayap pesawat untuk mengurangi kecepatan pesawat dan penanganan kecepatan rendah.
Sebuah slot terdepan adalah terdapat dalam setiap sayap, memungkinkan udara mengalir dari bawah sayap ke permukaan atasnya. Dengan cara ini mereka memungkinkan penerbangan pada tinggi sudut serangan dan dengan demikian mengurangi kecepatan pesawat.[1]
