Kehidupan awal
Lawless lahir pada 11 April 2000,[5][6] di Washington, D.C. Ayahnya adalah keturunan Irlandia-Amerika, dan ibunya adalah keturunan Taiwan. Ia kuliah di Universitas California, Los Angeles, dan meraih gelar BA di bidang ekonomi dan bahasa Mandarin. Ia mulai berakting pada usia 13 tahun.[7]
