Sapotaceae atau Suku sawo-sawoan adalah salah satu famili dari ordo Ericales. Famili ini memiliki sekitar 800 spesies pohon dan semak dalam 65 genera (35 hingga 75, tergantung pada definisi genus). Famili ini tersebar di daerah Tropika.
Banyak dari spesiesnya menghasilkan buah yang dapat dimakan atau untuk penggunaan lainnya. Spesies yang terkenal karena buahnya yang dapat dimakan adalah: Manilkara zapota (Sawo manila), Chrysophyllum cainito (sawo duren atau kenitu), Pouteria caimito (Sawo Australia atau Abiu), Pouteria campechiana (Sawo mentega), Pouteria sapota (Mamey sapote atau Sawo Raksasa), dan lain-lain.
Pohon getah perca (Palaquium) menghasilkan lateks penting dengan banyak kegunaan.
Benih pohon Argania spinosa (L.) menghasilkan minyak nabati minyak argan, yang dipanen secara tradisional di Maroko.
