Stephen James Merchant (lahir 24 November 1974) adalah seorang komedian, aktor, penulis, sutradara, dan presenter Inggris. Di samping Ricky Gervais, dia adalah rekan penulis dan co-sutradara serial komedi TV Inggris The Office (2001–2003), dan penulis bersama, sutradara, dan lawan main keduanya Extras (2005–2007) dan Life's Too Short (2011–2013).
